Russian Doll
The Sativa that Came from the East
From the cold lands of Kuban, a cradle of imperturbable Cossacks, comes a feminized cannabis seed accustomed to the harshest conditions on this planet, yet containing an exquisite sensitivity in its heart. It is called Kuban Sativa, after the Russian region where it was born. It is welcomed in a Mediterranean climate by two distant relatives, Northern Lights and AK-47, which teach it how to grow in other places and to focus all of its potential. From this titanic mixture comes our Russian Doll, a powerful plant bound to satisfy fans of intense experiences.
This is not your run-of-the-mill seed. This unique combination of Russian, Dutch and American personalities – a modern dream team – turns the growing plant into a real beast, producing colossal buds with a powerful sativa effect. If Kuban is capable of producing resin under harsh conditions, imagine what it is capable of under the Mediterranean sun.
Several growers have already told us that Russian Doll has become their favorite feminized cannabis seed, for the joy of its vigorous development and its spectacular sensations.
How to: Russian Doll
This marijuana plant is resistant to pests. It is almost the pests that fear it. By itself, Kuban wouldn’t be so attractive, but its AK47 heritage adds a dash of motivating sativa, while Northern Lights injects it with the ability to generate top-quality resin. It is a very robust, impenetrable specimen, with a central bud worthy of being photographed. Additionally, its secondary buds are of considerable size.
When it flowers, you will see that its leaves are also large and dark, giving it the appearance of an indica, but it is clearly sativa-dominant. Indoors, it is worth using a SCROG, a SOG, or fluxing because otherwise it can get taller than is desirable for healthy growth, and also to optimize production. It has a flowering period of between 58 and 63 days, although some testimonials report that it is better to leave it a few days more. Its estimated yield is about 450 grams per square meter under good conditions.
It is quite another thing to plant Russian Doll outdoors. We are talking about a harvest of 700 grams per plant, no less, in late September or early October. And that’s for a plant that is not over 1 meter 80 centimeters tall. We recommend apical pruning to make its growth more homogeneous. Its leaves, stems and buds, everything, are thick, pure vigor.
Russian Doll: Flavor and Effect
This feminized cannabis seed produces a really strong sativa effect, with an immediate first high and long-lasting enthusiasm. It has a THC level of 21% and a proportion of 60% sativa/40% indica, so its mental and bodily sensations are very balanced. With it, we’re able to share good times with friends and relieve stress.
Its taste is delicious, and very sophisticated. It tastes like Siberian cedar, oak, young cypress. It also has spicy touches, making this plant a gourmet dish, very intense on the palate.
